At the beginning of this year, we resolved to go greener and live more sustainably. Now that 2019 is more than halfway over, we're checking in on our progress, what we've learned, and best of all – how YOU can get involved.
As a member of 1% For The Planet, we're committed to donating at least 1% of our annual sales to their partner non-profits. So far this year, we've donated over $11,000 and spent dozens of volunteer hours as a team to support their partner organizations. With 4 more months left in the year, we can't wait to see how much more of an impact we can make, with your help!
THOUSAND GIVES
We gave each member of our team $1,000 to donate to environmental organizations of their choice. From saving honeybees to planting trees, we each donated to a cause that's important to us and learned a lot about each other in the process. You can read more about Thousand Gives in 2019 and 2020.

EARTH DAY 2019
This Earth Day, we joined the Friends of the LA River (FoLAR) for their Great River Cleanup. For us, the best part of the day was being able to make a difference in our own backyard and live up to the idea of "think globally, act locally."
And that's not all! We turned Earth Day into Earth Month and donated 10% of every purchase from Earth Day until the end of April to FoLAR. Thanks to you, we were to support of their vision to revitalize the LA River.

EVERYDAY SUSTAINABILITY
From designing eco-friendlier packaging that helps reduce our cardboard usage by 50% to using reusable straws around the office, we make choices big and small to make sure we're living sustainably every day. Every day, we try to choose to create less waste, reduce our carbon footprints, and work to create great gear without causing unnecessary harm to our planet.
